Gindy wins Pro Tour-Hollywood

Last weekend, May 23-25, Wizards held the second stop of the 2008 Pro Tour season with the Pro Tour Hollywood. Famous players from all over the world gathered to compete, not only for the $40,000, but also to be named as champion of what they call " the land where dreams come true and stars are made." After two days of battle and 16 grueling rounds of competition, the top 8 players were recognized and battled it out for the top spot. Charles Gindy, a 22-year old American and piloting B/G Elves, emerged as the winner as he swept Jan Ruess, a German players who is playing Merfolks, in the finals.
