Deck of the Week: Red-Green SnowRamp

Its Deck of the Week portion again peeps. For this second week of July, I'll feature to you a deck that has been existing since the release of Lorwyn. The deck is called Mana Ramp or Snow Ramp. Its basic components are land searches such as Rampant Growth, Search for Tomorrow and Into the North, mana accelerators such as Wall of Roots and Bird of Paradise, and fatties/bombs such as Cloudthreshers, and Chameleon Colossi.

The deck evolved in time. Earlier versions used Tarmogoyf and Siege-Gang Commanders as win conditions but due to the creation and popularity of the Faeries, the deck adjusted. The later build found Cloudthreshers as a good solution against the Fae, Chameleon Colossus against Bitterblossom tokens and the addition of Kitchen Finks against Aggro decks. Here is a build piloted by sys_down which won the Magic-League Standard Trial Tournament last July 4.
